Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Senior Vice President of Production and Sourcing is responsible for managing supplier evaluation, supply chain management, supplier development, procurement, and global sourcing. They will oversee the sourcing and production processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products. The Senior Vice President will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead sourcing, product development, costing, and production for all categories across all brands
• Responsible to placing all inventory & upfront buys
• Collaborate with design and sales to align products and cost engineer to meet company goals and market demands
• Collaborate with design and sales to ensure timely development of fabric, trims and samples
• Establish strong relationships with vendor partners and factories
• Monitor seasonal T&A Calendar to plan production capacity with all vendors
• Partner with vendors to ensure production is timely, ensuring factory utilization efficiency
• Coordinate with Operations Team to strategize routing of shipment to ensure balanced allocation for every warehouse location and timely distribution
• Work with Compliance to implement QC measures ensuring premium quality of all products
• Stay ahead of industry trends and technology to innovate and improve production process
• Identify production risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Implement sustainable production practices, ensuring environmentally friendly operations
• Travel overseas to visit factories, vendors, and walk the floor with retail buyers

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree from accredited University
• 10+ years’ experience in the apparel industry
• Strong experience in supplier evaluation, supplier development, and procurement
• Expertise in global sourcing and supply chain management
• Proven track record of successfully managing sourcing and production processes
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

LOCATION:

This position is based in Manhattan, NY

COMPENSATION:

The base salary range for this role is $200k-$225k.
