Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Sales Director EMEA will own the development and execution of sales strategies to accelerate growth. We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven individual to lead the EMEA sales teams and expand brand presence in Cycling and Snow Sports. They will manage a team of 7 Country Managers, 1 Distribution Manager, 1 B2B Communications Specialist & 20 Sales Reps. ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead European sales team to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the snow sports and cycling categories.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans and strategies with clear channel alignment within physical & digital streams.
- Manage relationships with key accounts and retail partners to grow revenue and enhance brand reputation and visibility.
- Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, product development, and logistics departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and product initiatives.
- Provide leadership and direction to the European commercial teams and ensure alignment with other regional sales managers to provide a consistent and integrated global sales and marketing strategy.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide coaching and mentorship to team members to maximize individual and team performance.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities and threats and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to develop relationships and promote brand awareness.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales management for consumer products, preferably in the snow sports, cycling, or outdoor industries.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, and effectively utilizing CRM software, and basic business programs.
- Passion for outdoor sports and a deep understanding of snow sports and cycling markets.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
- Comfortable working in a matrix reporting environment with solid line and dotted line reporting relationships.
- Language: English at a high professional level.
LOCATION
Fully remote within Europe (preferably SE, UK, DACH, NL, FR)
TRAVEL
Approximately 40% travel across Europe.
