Reporting to the CEO, the Sales Director will lead revenue growth through meticulous client relationship development and management. This individual will drive the development and execution of the sales pipeline, establish and grow product presence across all market segments, and strengthen our customer experience across commercial channels. This strategic role emphasizes cultivating new business opportunities and maximizing wallet share within existing clients. The ideal candidate will bring extensive sales and marketing experience within the footwear and apparel industry, coupled with strong leadership, strategic planning, and results-oriented mindset.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Takes ownership of revenue growth initiatives, closely monitoring sales performance, tracking progress against objectives, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Drive and frequently review an account mapping with focus on current, past and future Brands to initiate collaboration with.
- Develops and executes strategic sales plans that are aligned with our corporate objectives and global direction (top line and bottom line), leveraging marketing and competitive intelligence to develop targeted strategic initiatives.
- Cultivates robust relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders is paramount to our success. Build and enhance customer experience across all commercial touchpoints.
- Formulate sales forecasts and performance goals that drive our business forward based upon history and number of projects/accounts.
- Through market analyses, discerns customer needs, assess price competitiveness, and evaluate margin potential.
- Regularly generates sales reports detailing volume, potential sales, and proposed client base expansion.
- Monitors and evaluates competitive activities, performance, and products to stay ahead of the curve.
- Ensure alignment between product development, marketing and sales execution.
- Participate in kickoff meetings, milestone meetings, and other strategic client interactions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of product offerings, tailoring presentations to suit the needs of different organizations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience in sales and/or marketing, with proven success in the footwear or apparel industry.
- Strong commercial sales expertise and knowledge of the US market landscape.
- Strong foundation in strategic and tactical selling of solution sales
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Analytical ability to interpret and leverage sales figures and market statistics.
- High level of independence and initiative, balanced with strong team collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
