Reporting to the global CEO, the Sales & Marketing Director, North America will set and lead the execution of the sales and marketing strategy across key accounts and specialty channels for our brand. ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and drive key sales strategies or initiatives for all accounts across North America.
- Analyze and communicate sales and strategic data effectively to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Help establish best practices and process improvements internally to ensure healthy profitable growth practices.
- Recruit, retain and develop a team that delivers performance excellence while fostering a collaborative and authentic team environment aligned with the company’s culture.
- Deliver quarterly data-based sales projections. Grow top line revenue and maximize bottom line profits while maintaining long-term growth mindset.
- Regularly engage in competitive analysis, consumer trends, and market gaps to stay up to date on the marketplace.
- Strong analytical skills – ability to analyze account opportunities and develop strategies and plans.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to develop effective go-to-market strategies and sales initiatives.
- Manage the daily operations of the US entity including 3 pl distribution.
- Responsible for DTC for the US and Canadian market.
- Develop marketing strategies and build ambassador program.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of senior sales leadership and strategy development resulting in consistently exceeding sales plans, building brands and setting successful strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or an industry-relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Track record in successfully managing an internal sales organization and external sales rep model.
- Understanding and experience in how to effectively manage, motivate, and support the development of employees at all levels within the team.
- Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, and effectively utilizing CRM software, and basic business programs.
- Several years of experience in growing a premium or mission driven brand strongly preferred
- Knowledge and appreciation of the outdoor industry and relevant accounts management experience with accounts like REI.
