POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Partner-level consultant at Noto Group, you will own the full search process from client relationship to close, working across Director, VP, and C-suite level roles. That means advising senior leaders on talent strategy, building a deep understanding of each client's business and culture, and identifying candidates who are not just qualified but genuinely right for the role. This is consultative, relationship-driven work that requires sharp judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a high bar for quality.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Business Development

Develop and cultivate long-term relationships with industry leaders, investors, and other professional services partners to generate revenue for the firm. Identify new opportunities, lead pitches, and negotiate terms.

 

Search Leadership
Own and deliver a comprehensive search process for CXO, VP, and Director-level roles. Bring clarity to consequential hiring decisions through active communication and sound counsel, guiding both clients and candidates to strong outcomes.

 

Client Advisory

Go beyond the search to offer genuine thought leadership on talent strategy, leadership, and market dynamics. Be the person your clients call with candidate referrals, career questions, and important roles to fill.

 

People and Firm

Mentor and develop the people around you and contribute to the firm's leadership, culture, and direction. The playbook is always being written here, and you will have a real hand in how the firm evolves.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10 or more years of experience originating and owning retained executive search engagements at the Director, VP, and C-suite level, with a strong history of building and sustaining client relationships over time.
  • Deep experience managing senior client relationships and advising executive teams through high-stakes hiring decisions, driven by genuine curiosity about organizations, industries, and what makes leaders effective.
  • The ability to assess executive-level talent with confidence, going beyond credentials to evaluate leadership potential, cultural fit, and long-term impact
  • Strong communication and influencing skills at the executive level, with clients and candidates alike
  • A well-developed professional network and the discretion, credibility, and judgment to activate it on sensitive, high-stakes searches.

LOCATION

  • This role is remote for candidates based in the United States with preference for individuals based in major cities (e.g., New York, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles).
