Reporting to the CEO, the National Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in strategically expanding the Wholesale business within Key Accounts and Managing the Team of Independent Sales Reps. Working directly with the leadership team, you'll set sales goals and identify target territories and accounts to drive growth. You will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing relationships with existing customers, prospecting new business accounts across various industries and leading the day-to-day management of the rep force. Leading by example, you'll sell the entire portfolio of products and guide territory sales reps to achieve their targets. By analyzing sales data and market trends, you'll uncover new avenues for growth and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure success. Your upbeat demeanor and passion for motivating others will be essential as you travel throughout the territory, engaging with retail accounts, prospects, and representatives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategically growing our Wholesale business in Key Accounts and Managing the Sales Rep Team through:
- Working directly with the CEO to establishing sales goals and target accounts.
- Create, influence, and build relationships with existing accounts and ID new accounts in the region including large chain accounts and smaller mom and pop.
- Selling the entire company portfolio of products into specialty action sports, surf, footwear, skate, snow, fishing, hunting, golf, tennis, pickleball and gaming retailers, as well into hardware, travel, and other channels.
- Managing and developing sales reps to achieve sales goals and grow overall sales results.
- Analyzing sales data and market analysis to develop insight into avenues for growth throughout the territory.
- Working in a team environment to cultivate strong collaborative relationships with those in product, finance, marketing, administration, and logistics.
- Maintaining a positive work climate based on respect and trust.
Essential Job Functions
- Working for successful achievement of monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
- Preparing and presenting weekly sales forecasting 2-3 months out.
- Working with in-house team to create effective sales presentation materials including Look Books, Catalogues, and other marketing material.
- Knowing the competitive landscape and working to be the leading brand in the category
- Traveling across the US and to the company HQ frequently to meet with retailers, sales reps, prospective customers, and HQ team members as needed and required by the situation or the president.
Account Structure
- A detailed list of existing and prospective accounts will be provided. In addition, the Sales Manager is expected to present lists of new account opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years in active Sales and/or Sales Management.
- Experience managing a commission-based external rep force.
- Able and willing to travel frequently. Based within easy access to a major airport.
- Experience within consumer goods segments, ideally within active, lifestyle, or fashion forward companies.
- Experience managing a diverse network of accounts including specialty retail, mass/big box, sporting goods, and convenience stores.
- Self-motivated; ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Have a strong work ethic and willing to “go the extra mile" for the business.
- Training in leadership skills, management and marketing strategies is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- Inspiring and advanced written and oral sales communication and customer presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills – ability to analyze account opportunities and develop strategies and plans.
- Contribute to the development of innovative and effective marketing strategies.
LOCATION
This role is remote with frequent travel throughout the United States and to Henderson, NV.
COMPENSATION
The base salary range for this role is $85k - $95k + sales bonus estimated between $25k-$30k with no ceiling, plus a discretionary bonus twice a year.
