Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager, Ocean will lead the strategic direction of the brand's products, managing a world-class team and driving breakthrough marketing that resonates with both lifelong and next gen anglers. They’ll work at the intersection of brand, products, culture, and community, creating emotional connections that drive engagement, loyalty, and growth across every channel and customer touchpoint.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Become the voice of the customer, focusing deeply on the products and their distinct features.
- Define and evolve the brand voice across the growing global audience.
- Craft product narratives by developing strategic positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions that resonate with target audiences and drive market impact.
- Drive GTM readiness for product launches by ensuring execution of launch decks, briefs, and sales tools.
- Generate brand momentum by delivering retailer toolkits and internal education content that empowers teams and drives success.
- Sharpen the competitive edge by conducting insightful analysis and refining channel-specific messaging that captivates audiences and accelerates growth.
- Analyze performance metrics and ROI to optimize strategy, inform investment, and demonstrate results.
- Collaborate closely with product, sales, and executive teams to ensure marketing efforts align with broader business objectives.
- Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources to achieve maximum return and brand impact.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
- 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven success building and scaling consumer-facing brands, ideally in the outdoor, lifestyle, or premium goods space.
- Expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, brand development, social media, and e-commerce.
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, audience segmentation, and omnichannel campaign execution.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive strategy.

SALARY RANGE
The base salary range for this role is $110,000.
GEOGRAPHY
This is a remote role for candidates based on the East Coast. The role requires travel to Bozeman, MT two weeks per month.
