Reporting to the CEO, the Marketing Director will oversee and develop people and processes in marketing to ensure high performance and behaviors that align with company values. The Marketing Director will develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote the company's products, attract and retain customers, and increase brand awareness and profitability. This person will relentlessly pursue revenue growth in a direct-to-consumer environment by pioneering e-commerce excellence, harnessing cutting-edge insights to master customer acquisition. The Marketing Director will build incredible experiences and relationships with customers to nurture them through our ecosystem of parts for their vehicle. They will contribute to a positive culture of continuous improvement by learning and applying lean principles, exhibiting honesty, and respecting other people.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and implement strategic plans & roadmaps communicate the path toward revenue targets.
- Scientifically manage customer acquisition efforts, building a high-performance e-commerce engine.
- Lead Product Management efforts, ensuring product and feature roadmap that delivers growth.
- Shape pricing strategy that maximizes contribution margin, supports clear market positioning, and aligns with customer expectations at every stage of their journey.
- Guide development and testing of products from initial exposure to purchase.
- Build a world-class system to attribute ad spend, test creative, and scale digital / print advertising.
- Create unbreakable customer bonds via marketing efforts, nurturing product pipeline to maximize LTV.
- Shape pricing strategy that maximizes contribution margin, supports clear market positioning, and aligns with customer expectations at every stage of their journey.
- Build high performing, polished, clearly positioned brand messaging across all channels.
- Cultivate a high-performing marketing culture rooted in accountability and core values.
- Ensure marketing efforts are delivered on time and meet required quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years creating and managing digital marketing strategies.
- 7+ years marketing leadership and team management.
- Expert in digital and performance marketing.
- Expertise in customer journey mapping and personalization strategies.
- Proficiency in A/B testing, experimentation, and optimization techniques.
- Strong creative skills for brand storytelling and content development.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to develop long-term solutions.
- Possessing a high level of self-awareness, humility, and empathy.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
- Adept with technology such as ERP, Google Suite, and other software tools.
- Deep mastery of modern E-Commerce tools including Shopify, GA4, and Meta
LOCATION
This position is based in Salt Lake City, UT and requires 4-5 days/week of in-office leadership presence.
