Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. The role requires technical expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking to support the organization’s goals and maintain operational excellence. Work with all departments to ensure timely ordering and delivery of parts and other materials as needed. Assist maintenance staff with historical information regarding parts and services ordered and cost control. Identify, establish, and monitor PM flow for timeliness, accuracy, and compliance. Prepare, review, place, and track purchases through the process, inputs all changes into the inventory system including system updates. Provide accurate receiving documentation and inventory reporting as required. Address all downtime and investigate the root cause to identify potential changes and gains in production.

- Evaluating the cost-effectiveness of repairs versus replacements.
- Identifying opportunities to optimize resources and reduce expenses.
Vendor and Contractor Management
- Sourcing and negotiating contracts for equipment and services.
- Monitoring vendor performance and adherence to agreements.
- Managing relationships to ensure quality and timely support.
Technology Integration
- Implementing CMMS for streamlined work order management and tracking.
- Utilizing IoT devices and sensors for real-time equipment monitoring.
- Keeping up with emerging technologies to improve maintenance practices.

- Proven experience as maintenance manager or related role
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Degree preferred
- Previous experience in food manufacturing a plus
- English speaking, reading, and writing required, Bilingual in Spanish a plus
