Global Vice President of Sales and Market Development

Reporting to the President, the Global VP of Sales and Market Development is an executive leadership role, serving as a critical member of the senior leadership team. This position is responsible for accelerating revenue growth, expanding market share, and cultivating strategic partnerships across a portfolio of iconic lifestyle brands.

 

This role requires a unique blend of visionary leadership and operational execution. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing sales organizations, while also staying connected to day-to-day execution and market development.

 

The Vice President will lead strategic growth initiatives, ensuring operational excellence across all business lines. A key focus will be driving innovation across all sales channels to meet evolving customer expectations. Additionally, the role requires the development and implementation of scalable systems, tools, and processes that support long-term growth, enhance organizational agility, and position the portfolio platform for sustained success.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • P&L accountable for brand portfolio
  • Develop and implement scalable, data-driven sales strategies across multiple channels, segments, and geographies.
  • Ensure alignment with broader business goals and brand/product/marketing strategies.
  • Lead GTM planning and innovation in sales channels to meet customer expectations.
  • Relentlessly pursue and exceed revenue targets and growth KPIs.
  • Use forecasting, analytics, and ROI decisions to optimize results and manage investments.
  • Leverage market intelligence, trend analysis, and competitive insight to refine strategy and identify growth opportunities.
  • Champion a customer obsessed mindset; deepening client relationships to drive loyalty and repeat business.
  • Directly oversee 8 senior-level direct reports across field sales, business development, customer experience, and mass sales.
  • Build and retain high-performing sales teams; instill a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead through organizational change and foster cross-functional alignment.
  • Drive seamless coordination among sales, marketing, product, operations, and finance to ensure customer and commercial alignment.
  • Discourage silos and cultivate a unified approach to growth.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related discipline
  • 10+ years sales leadership experience
  • 5+ years of Director/VP-level experience at high growth brand
  • Sales strategy expertise
  • Consumer obsessed mindset
  • Market intelligence & competitive analysis acumen
  • Strong communicator and expert collaborator
  • Sales planning, modeling, and budgeting
  • Revenue forecasting, P&L acumen, data & analytics savvy
  • Executive presence & influencing capabilities
  • Travel required

 

COMPENSATION

Salary range $280,000- $325,000 + bonus structure

This position is a full time (in office) Leadership role, located in Irvine, California
