Director of Sales Operations

Reporting to the VP, Head of Commercial and Market Development for the Outdoor Performance platform, the Director of Sales Operations will drive success of the sales operations team and the overall business. The Director of Sales operations will manage sales operations, dealer services (customer experience), enabling ease of taking and executing against order book to ensure alignment among sales and other cross functional departments. This role is instrumental in optimizing sales processes, improving efficiency, and maximizing revenue. This is a multi-brand management position on the Global Commercial team where our focus is to drive growth by winning customers and channels while finding efficiency in a consolidated commercial management structure.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage Electronic Ordering tools and processes to secure orders and deliver products seamlessly.
  • Document work processes in service of E-Commerce, Specialty, and National Accounts.
  • Manage price lists, pricing integrity tools (MAP/UPP), deviations/campaigns.
  • Partner with dealer services to update pricing into systems.
  • Develop, report on, and resolve CX metrics, key issues, and feedback to Leadership team.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement.
  • Partner with sales training to deliver training for sales, sales management, and sales support teams.
  • Partner with sales leaders to audit sales process and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
  • Support sales leaders in resolving process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.
  • Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.
  • Implement enabling technologies to field sales teams.
  • Monitor compliance with required standards.
  • Partner with sales management to optimize effectiveness of technology investments.
  • Coach, lead, and develop the Sales Planning & Operations team.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline.
  • 7-10+ years’ experience in a sales operations role.
  • Proven track record of inspiring and leading high-performing teams.
  • Experience generating innovative approaches to product and business problems.
  • Effective and efficient communication skills with ability to influence action.
  • Ability to assimilate qualitative/quantitative data and action insightful solutions.
  • Exhibit a curious mind and actively provide business insights.
  • Working knowledge of Netsuite.

This role is located in Odgen/Salt Lake City, Utah
