Chief Executive Officer

Our client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the company through its next stage of growth and market expansion.

 

The incoming CEO will serve as a growth-stage operator and commercial leader, responsible for scaling the business from early traction into a high-growth, globally recognized company. The organization has already established strong product-market fit, an exceptional product roadmap, and a growing customer base. The CEO’s mandate is to execute—driving adoption, scaling sales, building operational discipline, and ensuring the organization has the right leadership capacities in place to grow and scale.

 

The company’s founders and technology inventors will continue to drive long-term product innovation and category vision; therefore, the CEO’s primary mandate is operational execution—scaling commercial adoption, building organizational discipline, and translating opportunity into sustained revenue growth. The founding CEO, who successfully led the company from inception through its early growth, will remain involved during a transition period to support the incoming CEO and ensure a smooth leadership handoff.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Strategy + Execution

  • Lead the company’s overall strategy and operational execution to scale adoption of the company’s technology globally.
  • Execute a focused market expansion strategy beginning with logistics, warehousing, and industrial sectors—scaling adoption within these markets before expanding into adjacent industries.
  • Translate the founders’ long-term vision into actionable growth plans and measurable business outcomes.
  • Drive market leadership in the emerging occupational exosuit category through expanded channel distribution.
  • Ensure disciplined operational execution across product commercialization, customer implementation, and international expansion.
  • Maintain strong prioritization and focus, ensuring the organization executes effectively against key growth initiatives.

 

Financial

  • Lead financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Drive revenue growth while maintaining strong margins.
  • Build and scale financial infrastructure, including recruiting and developing senior finance leadership over time.
  • Partner closely with investors and the board on capital strategy, fundraising, and growth initiatives.
  • Establish clear KPIs and operating metrics to track business performance and guide strategic decisions.

 

Commercial

  • Scale enterprise sales and commercial strategy across key industries.
  • Partner closely with the VP of Sales, VP of Client Services, and customer leadership to accelerate enterprise adoption.
  • Accelerate the transition from pilot programs to enterprise-scale deployments within large customers.
  • Personally engage in strategic customer relationships and major deal closures.
  • Expand adoption within existing enterprise customers—from pilots or partial-deployments to full-scale and sustained adoption.
  • Lead commercialization across sales, marketing, and customer success functions.
  • Strengthen the Company’s positioning as the leading provider of industrial exosuits.

 

Leadership

  • Build and develop a high-performing executive team across sales, operations, marketing, and finance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and strong execution.
  • Inspire and motivate the organization through clear leadership, energy, and vision.
  • Partner closely with founders, technical leadership, and customer success leadership to align product innovation with market needs.
  • Strengthen organizational discipline and scalability as the company grows.
  • Instill operational rigor, prioritization, and performance discipline across the organization.
  • Shape the future leadership team as the company scales.

 

KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

  • The ideal candidate brings a blend of commercial leadership, operational excellence, and growth-stage experience.
  • Proven track record scaling a company from early revenue into significant commercial growth.
  • Strong B2B enterprise sales leadership, particularly in hardware or industrial solutions.
  • Experience selling into industries such as logistics, distribution, manufacturing, safety technology, or industrial operations.
  • Deep understanding of physical product businesses, including supply chain, manufacturing, inventory, and product lifecycle management, ideally within hardware-enabled or industrial technology environments.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing leadership teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage business performance through data and KPIs.
  • Experience working with boards, investors, and fundraising processes.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a new product category and emerging market.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Senior leadership experience within a high-growth company environment.
  • Demonstrated success scaling commercial organizations and enterprise sales.
  • Strong operational leadership and business management capability.
  • Experience navigating growth from early-stage traction to large-scale expansion.

  • Experience working with investors and participating in fundraising or capital strategy.
