Chief Financial Officer

Reporting to the President Americas, the Chief Financial Officer will collaborate closely with local and global leadership across the organization to bring teams together and bridge communication globally to ensure the region successfully executes our business plan and is aligned with global direction, processes, and initiatives.

This operational CFO provides the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and systems to grow the organization effectively and with operating efficiency aligned with the corporate principles and methods set by the company. They will lead the financial business strategies and, in partnership with the Executive Leadership Team regionally and globally, will develop, monitor, and evaluate overall regional corporate strategy, emphasizing bottom-line performance and efficiency, aligning functional areas, and properly allocating resources. This position ensures valuable financial insights and compliance to support internal and external stakeholders.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Organizational Leadership

  • Responsible for managing all hands-on business operations of the Company and supporting the President of the Americas in sustainable and prosperous growth.
  • Serve as a corporate officer for one or more of the NA entities. Build and maintain the company’s long term and annual growth plans, with associated P&Ls and budgets.
  • Provides day-to-day leadership and management guidance that mirrors the adopted corporate mission and core values.
  • Responsible for driving efficiencies that positively contribute to meeting business goals and objectives, meeting top and bottom-line budgets, and establishing scalability to support growth.

 

Financial Leadership

  • Provides overall financial oversight, cash flow, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for North America across all brands in collaboration with the regional finance team, and in coordination with the company’s central finance organization headed by the Global CFO.
  • Provide support and financial leadership across buying, merchandising and allocation, operations, and logistics, as well as the accounting team.
  • Play a key leadership role in the ERP implementation as well as develop systems and tools necessary for growth.
  • Protect the entities by ensuring they are legally protected and compliant with all applicable regulations, laws, and policies. Responsible for establishing internal controls and performance indicators needed to measure effectiveness.

 

Team Leadership + Development

  • Together with the President of the Americas, lead teams in the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel needed to execute business strategy.
  • Coach, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure organizational success.
  • Lead the finance and accounting team and enact a culture of accountability, high standards, and collaboration.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • This role requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a related field, such as accounting, finance, or business. An MBA and industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience with a retail and/or consumer goods organization. Experience with omnichannel selling highly desired.
  • Experience operating in a global matrix organization preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in finance with proven success in developing efficient, effective, fiscally responsible organizations.
  • Advanced knowledge and utilization of current financial and accounting computer applications.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams through organizational changes, growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and hold teams accountable for deliverables.

 

LOCATION

This position is based in Louisville, CO.

 

COMPENSATION

The base salary range for this role is $200k – 250k + bonus, pending years of experience.
